While walking back from 23rd street in Portland one evening, I saw this beautiful sky as the sun was setting. I loved its reflection in the windows of the building and how it accentuated the color of the streetcar and the building's façade.
Streetcar at Sunset - 16x20" original watercolor painting with white mat. On display at the Oregon Society of Artists until Jan 8, 2016 Ahhhh.....sibling rivalry at it's best. This painting was inspired by watching two brothers scramble to the top of a rock in a local park.
King of the Hill? - 16x20 original watercolor fitted with white mat. This little boy was so full of giggles when the dog started licking his face. What a great example of the bonds between dogs and young children. .
New Friend - 11x14" original watercolor with white mat. When we were driving across country we visited a park in Soux Fall which was filled with interesting statues. In this photo, Andrea was mimicking a bronze statue of a man thinking and I loved the pose!
