New friends

Over the past few years I have been making toys for my family members. I thought I'd share a few here.

Small friends

These friends stand 4 inches tall and are hand stitched from felt. they often made me laugh out loud as I was making them, their clothing and the items they were carrying.

I love love music and musicians make such wonderful painting subjects, so I decided to do a series of paintings.

Dancers

I decided to do a series of dancers. I loved their graceful forms. All are 16x20 on cold pressed watercolor paper.

I just sold this painting to my friend. I loved the reference photo which was of her and her daughter 25 years ago. I am glad she liked it.

This is my second attempt at this painting. I used cold pressed watercolor paper this time and made it smaller - so 11x14 with a white mat.

Grey horse series

I did a series of paintings of grey horses as a structure to remind me of being powerful. Here are a few. They are all on cold pressed watercolor paper. The bottom one is a 3x5" sketch. The other 2 are 16x20.

A friend kindly let me take photos of her, wearing a scarf my friend made, that we used on my friend's facebook page. She looked so beautiful and sweet in this pose, that I had to capture it in a painting.. 16x20 painting on cold pressed watercolor paper.

    All paintings come fitted with a mat and ready for your choice of standard size frame.  The size of painting includes the mat.  Current pricing is as follows:

    - 8x10   - $65
    - 11x14  - $100
    - 16x20 - $150

    Commissions are priced at 1.5x the listed price.  Portraits commissions with more than one person are an additional $50/person.
